What's not included
What sits outside the price, so nothing is a surprise at the invoice:

- Machine-learning model development
- Scraping that violates a site's terms of service - checked before quoting
- Multiple workflows in one package - each gets its own scope and price
The 'from $1,200' floor reflects real variance: a scheduled report is not a multi-source scraper with a review UI. The quote locks when the spec does. The spec comes from your form - there's no paid discovery phase.

Automation cost and delivery
How much does it cost to automate a business process?
Builds start at $1,200 USD fixed. The final quote depends on how many sources are involved, the transformation logic, failure handling, and whether humans need an interface - your brief usually pins the number within one business day, and the quote you get is locked. For contrast, custom automation from agencies commonly starts at $5,000+ - the $1,200 floor exists because one engineer with an AI pipeline spends nothing on account managers or office overhead. Running costs stay on your own infrastructure, typically a few dollars a month serverless.
Where does the automation run?
Your infrastructure, under your accounts - typically serverless functions or scheduled jobs that cost dollars a month, not a server to babysit. You're never dependent on infrastructure I control.
What happens when it breaks at 2am?
Monitoring and alerts are part of every build - failures notify you (or a channel) with enough context to act. The 14-day warranty covers bugs; beyond that, fixes are quoted or handled under Rescue Fix.
Can you scrape any website?
Technically often, ethically not always. Targets are checked against their terms and robots policies before quoting - if a scrape can't be done defensibly, you'll hear it at quote stage.
Do you build in n8n, Zapier or Make?
No - the build is code: TypeScript running as scheduled jobs or serverless functions in your own accounts, with tests, alerts and a runbook. If a flow tool already covers most of your process, keep it. The usual shape then is one small service for the step it can't do, which is often the $900 API Integration Sprint rather than this package. Code earns its place when the flow itself is the problem: rate limits, a step that needs real logic, or volume that makes per-task pricing expensive.
